West Ham are willing to sell Crysencio Summerville for €30m (£25.9m), according to reports in Italy.
Roma are said to be considering a move for the Netherlands international, but they were originally quoted a figure close to €40m (£34.5m).

However, Italian newspaper Il Messaggero claim that the Hammers have decided to lower their demands for Summerville.
The new valuation is now pretty much the figure that the club paid Leeds for the winger in the summer of 2024.
Summerville does have other suitors
Roma are not the only team interested in securing the 24-year-old’s services. AC Milan, Tottenham, Everton and Aston Villa have been credited with an interest as well.
At the moment, there have been no formal bids for Summerville, and West Ham are likely hoping to encourage more offers by lowering their demands.
Following the club’s relegation to the Championship, there is a need to raise considerable funds from player sales. Reports suggest that there is a £150m financial block hole that needs to be filled before the transfer window closes in August.

The World Cup could delay player exits from West Ham
Summerville will be at the tournament with the Netherlands, so we may only see movement on his departure in July. There could be similar delays with other players, including Senegal’s El Hadji Malick Diouf.
However, the situation is different with Mateus Fernandes. The 21-year-old was not named in Portugal’s squad, so negotiations between the Irons and interested clubs may well take place sooner rather than later.
A substantial amount could be raised from the midfielder’s exit, with the likes of Manchester United, Real Madrid and others keen on signing him. His asking price is reportedly as high as £85m, so we shall see if any team makes an offer close to that number.
