Liverpool confirm trio of backroom departures

**Liverpool have confirmed three departures from Arne Slot’s coaching staff.**

Sipke Hulshoff, Giovanni van Bronckhorst and Ruben Peeters all follow the Dutchman out of the door at Anfield [following his sacking at the end of May](https://www.clickliverpool.com/sport/liverpool-fc/65692-arne-slot-sacked-as-liverpool-head-coach/).

Hulshoff and Peeters joined Slot at the outset of his Reds’ reign, having served as assistant manager and fitness coach respectively during his tenure with Feyenoord.

Van Bronckhorst linked up with the then Premier League champions last summer in the aftermath of John Heitinga’s return to his homeland to take the reins with Ajax.

The trio’s exits were confirmed on Friday, almost a fortnight since Slot’s sacking, as new head coach Andoni Iraola prepares to finalise Liverpool’s new backroom ranks.

Peeters had [already announced his impending departure](https://www.clickliverpool.com/sport/liverpool-fc/65736-arne-slot-ally-sends-liverpool-farewell-message/) on LinkedIn just a day after his superior was publicly dismissed following a dismal second season.

Tactical analysist Roderick van der Ham is also expected to vacate his position as the Basque sets about reuniting with several of his former Bournemouth allies.

Assistants Tommy Elphick and Shaun Cooper, analyst Tom Webber.and fitness coach Pablo de la Torre are all anticipated to make the move to Merseyside.

However Liverpool will be required to broker a compensation package with the Cherries due to only De La Torre still not under contract on the South Coast.
