The Buccaneers head coach will not back off his disinterest in singling out players for having a good practice.
After yesterday’s OTA practice at One Buc Palace, Bowles was asked about Chris Godwin having a strong day and more. He flashed and smile and gave his 2026 line, “I think everybody has a good day in t-shirts and shorts.”
Ironically, after practice, coaches and front office types gather to dissect film of the flag football sessions and grade players and praise and criticize them. Everybody does _not_ have a good day.
Joe has noted that Bowles was slightly more forthcoming in past years. This year’s, nobody’s-earned-crap approaches is calculated and Joe kind of likes it.
