Anfield will reprise its role as a music venue this summer, with Zach Bryan the first to take over Liverpool's home, and will perform on the temporary stage tonight

When FSG first came to Liverpool, they were faced with a stark choice; redevelop Anfield, or move the club away from its historic home.
Today, there's not a single fan who isn't delighted that FSG chose the first option. Anfield has become a genuinely world-class facility, and Liverpool has enjoyed major success in the modern era without having to sever a vital part of its past.
One of the facets of the modernization is that the stadium now becomes a premium concert venue every summer, with stars such as Taylor Swift, Dua Lipa, and the Rolling Stones holding shows in recent years. These events can pull in millions of dollars for the club, and the next event will welcome US country star Zach Bryan.
Especially in the UK, some people won't be altogether familiar with Bryan. There are more long-standing acts set to follow later in the summer: the Foo Fighters will play two nights on June 25 and 27, before My Chemical Romance on June 30.
But Bryan is a major name in country music. The 30-year-old boasts more than 25 million monthly listeners on Spotify (actually higher than the bands that are coming to Anfield).
And he has performed in the UK before. Last year, he was one of the acts at the long-standing BST concert in Hyde Park, alongside the likes of Olivia Rodrigo, Noah Kahan, and Sabrina Carpenter.

Bryan's show at Anfield tonight is a one-night-only affair, as part of a wider UK and Europe tour. Limited tickets remain available.
The American (who was born in Japan) will be joined by supporting acts Dijon and Fey Fili. Both artists are supporting him throughout his tour.
Gates are set to open at Anfield from 17:00 local time for general admission tickets. The "I Remember Everything" singer is scheduled to appear at around 20:00.

For those who want to see Zach Bryan in concert but are unable to attend, he will next be performing in Edinburgh on June 14, before coming to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on June 16 and 17. He will then embark on Ireland and Northern Ireland legs, before concluding his European tour in Paris.

For those in the US, Bryan is next performing in Eugene, Oregon on July 25. After that, he will play multiple dates across the country.
As for Anfield, attentions will turn back to football after the run of summer concerts. It's another new era at Liverpool's home, with Andoni Iraola set to take up the seat in the dugout.
There will be some new faces on the pitch, too, with transfers expected. Whoever ends up arriving, at least a small part of the kitty came from Anfield's new lease of life as a premium concert venue.
