Kayshon Boutte put the trade rumors behind him and was a full participant for the first two days of Patriots minicamp.
The third day? Different story.
Boutte curiously didn't participate in any team drills, according to reporters who watched Thursday's practice. As of this writing, there wasn't any reporting on Boutte dealing with a potential injury.
"Zero (0) 11-on-11 reps for Kayshon Boutte today at Patriots practice," CLNS Media's Mike Kadlick wrote on X.
Boutte didn't show up for voluntary offseason training activities (OTAs), which raised eyebrows amid reports about the fourth-year receiver wanting a trade. But he was present for mandatory minicamp and claimed he wants to stay with the Patriots for the rest of his career.
Boutte could've missed Thursday's team drills for any number of reasons, but the development surely will generate more speculation about a potential trade sometime this summer.
Recent reporting indicates New England would receive just a Day 3 draft pick in return for Boutte.
