Ray Parlour has backed Arsenal to make a move for highly rated Bournemouth striker Eli Junior Kroupi, describing the teenager as a player who would be a “very good” addition to Mikel Arteta’s squad amid growing interest from several of Europe’s leading clubs.
The former ARSENAL midfielder believes Kroupi possesses the attributes needed to thrive at the Emirates Stadium as the Gunners continue their search for additional firepower ahead of the new season.
Kroupi, has emerged as one of the Premier League’s most exciting young forwards following an impressive breakthrough campaign with Bournemouth. The French youngster enjoyed a prolific season on the south coast, attracting widespread attention with his goalscoring ability, movement and versatility across the attacking line.
Speaking about Arsenal’s transfer priorities, Parlour identified Kroupi as a player capable of strengthening Arteta’s attacking options while also offering long-term potential
‘Kroupi’s a very good, talented player, there’s no doubt about that,’ Parlour told The Mirror.
‘He’s a young player, and you know Mikel Arteta can make players even better when they’re young, so that would be a good signing.’
Kroupi’s rapid rise has been remarkable. Known for his intelligent movement, technical quality and composure in front of goal, he has quickly established himself as a key figure for Bournemouth and one of the league’s standout young players.
For Arsenal, adding a young forward with significant upside could complement their existing attacking options while fitting the club’s strategy of recruiting players who can develop further under Arteta’s guidance.
