Liverpool are set for a busy summer transfer window under new head coach Andoni Iraola, with the club looking to strengthen key areas of the squad following a mixed campaign.
Despite spending around £446million last summer, the Reds believe there is still significant room for improvement, particularly after a season that fell short of expectations.

Iraola is expected to implement his trademark high-intensity, attacking style of football, with Liverpool preparing to move away from the more cautious approach seen under Arne Slot before his dismissal.
Much of the focus will be on attacking reinforcements, including the search for a long-term replacement for club legend Mohamed Salah.
Any new signing is expected to fit into Iraola’s direct, front-foot system. However, defensive recruitment is also a priority, with the club planning for long-term development at centre-back.
According to the Liverpool Echo, Liverpool are expected to sanction a loan move for academy defender Amara Nallo this summer to aid his development after limited first-team opportunities.
The 19-year-old, who joined from West Ham in 2023, has already been around the senior squad but has struggled for consistent minutes under Slot.
He notably experienced back-to-back red cards across two seasons before returning to action in limited appearances, including a substitute outing against Qarabag in January.
Nallo has now slipped further down the pecking order following the arrival of Mor Talla Ndiaye, who joined from Amitié FC for around £1m and has quickly integrated into the senior environment.
Another defensive addition, Ifeanyi Ndukwe, is also set to arrive from Austria Vienna in a £2.6m deal and will initially link up with the U21s, though both he and Ndiaye are expected to be involved in pre-season preparations.
With Ibrahima Konate set to leave and Virgil van Dijk away on international duty at the World Cup, opportunities may open for younger players during pre-season. While Nallo is valued internally, a loan move to a Championship side is considered the most likely next step.
