Liverpool attacker Cody Gakpo
Liverpool‘s Cody Gakpo wants to leave the Premier League side this summer, according to a report from the Netherlands.
The forward joined the Reds from PSV Eindhoven in January 2023. He played a key part in helping them win the title during the 2024/25 season, managing 18 goals and seven assists.
Liverpool rewarded the Netherlands international with a new contract in September 2025, but his form has dropped since then.
Gakpo scored nine goals and contributed six assists in 3,596 minutes from 52 matches this season.
Earlier this month, Sport Witness covered claims from the Dutch press that Tottenham Hotspur are making places to sign him. Roberto De Zerbi appreciates Gakpo and wants him to be part of his rebuild at Spurs.

Cody Gakpo has a contract at Liverpool until 2030 and his value, as per Transfermarkt, is now €60m. The highest value was €70m in March 2025.
