The Green Bay Packers have been informed that one of their Super Bow champions has been arrested and will spend (at least) the weekend in jail. The news of the arrest went viral among Packers fans and the league in general.

Packers Super Bowl Champion Arrested
Former NFL star Andre Rison will spend the weekend in jail after being booked in Michigan on a second-offense impaired driving charge. Per TMZ, the ex-wide receiver was booked into custody on Friday night and is scheduled for release on Sunday.
According to court records obtained by TMZ, Rison pleaded guilty to an operating while intoxicated charge stemming from an incident that occurred in Troy, Michigan in August 2025.
Despite posting a $5,000 bond during the case, Rison ended up with a 5-day jail term and 18 months probation following a hearing this week. Additionally, he owes more than $2,300 in fees and fines related to this case. As a result of this ruling, an additional charge of open intoxication in a motor vehicle has been dismissed.
In his 12-year career, Rison had stops with the Falcons, Browns, Jaguars, Packers, Chiefs, Raiders and Colts, among others. A five-time Pro Bowl selection, he also won a Super Bowl with the Packers in 1996.
Additionally, the former star became well known for his high-profile relationship with TLC rapper Left Eye — aka Lisa Lopes — including the infamous 1994 incident that saw her burn down his Atlanta mansion.
