CeeDee Lamb is one of the best wide receivers in the NFL right now, playing for the Dallas Cowboys. The highly skilled and energetic player is often the difference maker for his team.
Though he had a good 2025 season individually, the Cowboys did not have that same overall performance. Ahead of the next season, they are aiming to have a better one, though Lamb seems to be busy with something else.

Lamb had a good 2025 season, and appeared in 14 games, missing some games due to a high ankle sprain. In the games he played in, he had 75 receptions for 1,077 yards and three touchdowns. It was the fifth consecutive season he had more than 1,000-yards. Drafted in 2020 by the Cowboys, he has been a Pro Bowler for all five seasons.

His performances and contributions have made him an invaluable asset for the franchise. They are betting on him for the future as well, as he signed a four-year, $136 million contract extension back in 2024. The contract has $100 million in guaranteed money, and has an average value of $34 million, and has also been beneficial for the Cowboys.
Lamb is expected to play an even more important role next season. He is currently enjoying the offseason, a time of relaxation for all NFL players. However, he recently gained much attention when a viral clip showed him at a party. In the crowd, the wide receiver can be seen interacting and talking with a group of girls at the party. While it is not a big issue, many fans did not like one of their star players to be distracted.
Contrary to what the video suggests, the 27-year-old has not been idle. He participated at the Cowboys’ minicamp and OTAs and made an observation as well.
CeeDee Lamb praises Cowboys defense
Lamb recently praised the Cowboys’ new defense structure under new defensive coordinator Christian Parker. The defense has been problematic for the Cowboys in previous years, but the wide receiver was positive about it ahead of next season.
He was asked about it and said, “It’s annoying. It’s been annoying to prepare against. But obviously seeing it in practice every day, it’s kind of unique. Just seeing the different guys communicate and be able to understand and take what they learn from the meeting room and being able to easily translate it on the field. It’s good to go against. It’s very tricky.”
CeeDee Lamb and the Dallas Cowboys will now prepare for the 2026 NFL season.
