Zach Wilson had a poor 2025 season with the Miami Dolphins. The franchise failed to make the playoffs and had a disappointing 7-10 campaign. Ahead of the next season, he has joined the New Orleans Saints as one of their quarterbacks.
Before joining his new team, Wilson is enjoying the offseason. He is specifically enjoying it with his wife Nicolette Wilson, with the pair expecting a new baby.
Zach Wilson and wife Nicolette hold lavish baby shower
Zach and Nicolette started dating around 2022 when he was with the New York Jets. They got married in a high-profile ceremony at St. Patrick’s Cathedral in New York City in June 2025. Soon after on March 31, 2026, the couple announced her pregnancy, which was revealed in a unique manner with an Instagram post. They then hosted a big gender reveal party, where it was revealed that their first child together will be a baby girl.

Building on that, the couple recently hosted a baby shower for their first child. Nicolette shared photos from the event on her Instagram account in early June 2026. The caption read, “The sweetest celebration for baby girl🎀 we can’t wait to meet you!”
According to some reports, the baby shower was quite expensive, and cost more than a normal wedding. The event followed an all-pink theme, owing to the fact that the baby will be a girl. She wore a sleeveless pastel pink midi dress with a bow detail across the bodice and paired it with pink pointed-toe kitten heels.
One of the photos show Wilson standing beside her, hugging her sideways and holding her baby bump. He was wearing a beige-colored shirt along with white trousers. Everyone else wore pink to match with the theme of the event. Many were happy to see the couple celebrating an important milestone in their lives.
Zach Wilson expected to play backup role at Saints
Zach Wilson is expected to be a backup quarterback at the Saints. Tyler Shough is the franchise’s main starting quarterback. Spencer Rattler is another backup quarterback with whom Wilson will be competing with.
Wilson was drafted back in 2022 and has already joined four teams since. He was drafted by the Jets, then joined the Denver Broncos, and later the Miami Dolphins. He then took the decision to join the Saints after the end of the 2025 NFL season. Head coach Kellen Moore talked about Wilson’s role in the organization. He said, “He’s had to navigate a lot of different moving pieces. I think we can create a really healthy ecosystem to let him develop as a quarterback. Obviously, we see the arm talent that he has.”
Zach Wilson will be preparing for the 2026 NFL season while also for the birth of his first child.
