Paris Saint-Germain have opened the door to Liverpool target Bradley Barcola leaving the European champions this summer.

L’Equipe claim that the winger is stalling on signing a contract extension, and the French giants are “not so closed to a sale” as they once were.

A source close to PSG told the newspaper that Barcola needs to show more commitment, or a parting of ways could be on the horizon:

“Bradley is a super important player for us. But, as we have been doing since the beginning of this project, we will only keep the players very involved. If someone wants to leave PSG, you will have to find a solution. He has to show the urge to stay.”

Barcola is unhappy about his game time

The 23-year-old’s contract expires in 2028, and while PSG are keen to extend, the player himself is hesitating due to his lack of minutes.

Barcola did start 35 matches in all competitions last season, but he was overlooked by manager Luis Enrique for the quarterfinal, semifinal, and final of the Champions League.

Enrique has favoured a front three of Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, Ousmane Dembele and Desire Doue for the big matches, which has clearly not gone down well with Barcola.

How much would Liverpool need to pay for the player?

There have been plenty of price tags doing the rounds online, but one of the few trusted reporters when it comes to PSG is RMC Sport‘s Fabrice Hawkins.

He says Barcola will likely cost just as much as Yan Diomande. It means that interested clubs, including the Reds and Arsenal, may have to stump up as much as €130m (£112m) for the France international.
