Man Utd are keen on securing the services of Hoffenheim winger Bazoumana Toure, according to reports in the German media.
Tabloid Bild claims the Red Devils think the Ivorian international “perfectly” fits what they are looking for as they seek to strengthen their left flank.
Toure is an international teammate of Amad, as well as a past transfer target, RB Leipzig’s Yan Diomande.

The 20-year-old had a good season with Hoffenheim, finding the back of the net 5 times as well as providing 12 assists in 32 appearances.
Toure would be a cheaper addition to the squad
With the bulk of United’s transfer budget set to be devoted to strengthening the midfield, Director of Football Jason Wilcox appears to be seeking lower-cost solutions for the frontline.
It has been revealed that while Aston Villa’s Morgan Rogers and Everton’s Iliman Ndiaye are well-liked by the recruitment team, there is also interest in Lille’s Matias Fernandez-Pardo.
Like Toure, the Belgian is young and his asking price is expected to be considerably lower than the likes of Rogers, Ndiaye and Diomande.
Bild report that Hoffenheim are in a “strong negotiating position” when it comes to Toure, and they would only sell if they receive a “massive offer”, but they are also “ready to talk.” Based on information from other sources, a fee of around €40m (£35m) could well be enough to get a deal over the line.
Man Utd will need to see off 2 other Premier League teams
It is believed that Brentford and Newcastle are also keen on signing Toure, but it is unlikely that either club would pose much of a threat to Michael Carrick’s side.
The Bees can’t offer the Ivorian Champions League football, while the Magpies are said to be closing in on a deal for another winger – Osasuna’s Victor Munoz.
