Three more Liverpool stars will get their World Cup underway today as the Netherlands take on Japan.

Reds captain Virgil van Dijk, Ryan Gravenberch and Cody Gakpo are all part of Ronald Koeman's squad as the Dutch look to end their long wait to be crowned world champions, having made three finals previously.

They haven't been handed the easiest of draws in Group F though, starting with a tough opener against Japan before facing Sweden and Tunisia. If Van Dijk and co are to land the trophy they've been craving for so long, they will have to things the hard way.

Here's everything you need to know about how to watch Netherlands vs Japan in the US and UK today.

What time is kick-off?

The game kicks off at 3 pm local time at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. Elsewhere in the US, that's 4 pm Eastern Time and 1 pm Pacific Time.

For viewers in the UK, the game will kick off at 9 pm.

Is the game on TV?

Viewers in the U.K. will be able to catch all the action live on ITV, with coverage getting underway at 8:15 pm. Streaming is also available via ITVX, while highlights will be available after the game on YouTube.

Fans in the US will also be able to watch the game live, with coverage and streaming available on FOX. The game will also be available in Spanish via Telemundo and streaming through Peacock.

Early team news

The Liverpool trio of Van Dijk, Gravenberch and Gakpo will all be expected to start for the Netherlands, with the former captaining his country.

The Dutch have been hit by the withdrawal of Jurrien Timber, with the Arsenal defender unable to recover from injury in time for the tournament as Lutsharel Geertruida has earned himself a late call-up. Meanwhile, Ronald Koeman has confirmed both Memphis Depay and Bart Verbruggen are in contention, having been doubts after the warm-up games.

As for Japan, Wataru Endo's injury and subsequent international retirement has come as a big blow ahead of the tournament. Brighton's Kaoru Mitoma is also a big miss, having not been fit enough to make the squad.
