2027 Iol Jayin Talib commits to Coach Prime's Buffs

A class of 2027 recruit who largely flew under the radar throughout his recruitment to Colorado, unranked interior offensive lineman Jayin Talib announced his commitment to the Buffs on Sunday.

Talib, a 6-foot-2, 275-pound center from Allen, Tex., is the nephew of former Denver Broncos cornerback Aqib Talib and the younger brother of defensive end Yamil Talib, who transferred from Charlotte to Colorado earlier this offseason. The younger Talib received an offer from Colorado offensive line coach Gunnar White in April and officially visited Boulder this weekend.

Although unranked, Jayin Talib owns two other Power Four offers in North Carolina State and Texas Tech. Texas State, Charlotte, Memphis, UTSA and other Group of Six programs.

Three-star EDGE Drew Sapp also announced his commitment on Sunday morning, bringing Colorado's 2027 total to 16. Head coach Deion Sanders signed 14 high school players to his 2026 recruiting class.

Other 2027 offensive linemen who've committed to the Buffs include Li'Marcus Jones, Jaiden Lindsay and Zaquan Linton.
