Top 3 Stefon Diggs 2026 Landing Spots Following NFL Clears Him in Investigation

Stefon Diggs remains as one of the best free agents who are still available to be signed. After making the Super Bowl as part of the New England Patriots last season and thriving in his role, he is still looking for a job three months before the 2026 season kicks off. Diggs can certainly make a team a lot better after having 85 catches for 1,013 yards and four touchdowns. However, there have been some legal issues that caused some concern for the 32-year-old wideout.

The NFL announced they have cleared Diggs from its internal investigation, meaning he will not be suspended. Let’s take a closer look at where the former fifth-round pick can wind up playing in the 2026 season.

Kansas City Chiefs

The Kansas City Chiefs have one weakness in their offense after signing Kenneth Walker III this offseason: the wide receiver room. They have Rashee Rice, but coming off jail and knee surgery, it is going to be difficult to have much faith in him to stay on the field. Xavier Worthy is a solid player, but his frame makes it difficult to believe in him as a legitimate pass-catcher. Diggs would walk in and be the immediate number-one target for Patrick Mahomes.

The issue would be that this would need to be a prove-it deal as Kansas City has just $4.1 million in available cap space. They can make this a multi-year deal for Stefon Diggs to give him some more security, but the opportunity to be in the Super Bowl once again is where the Chiefs make a lot of sense.

Denver Broncos

This may come as a bit of a random one, but there are some intriguing reasons that this makes sense. Diggs mentioned that he almost played with the Broncos last season, showcasing that there is at least interest in joining the Denver Broncos. Stefon Diggs’ former teammate is offensive coordinator and play-caller Davis Webb, so there is a connection there as well. The Broncos have already addressed wide receiver this offseason by trading for Jaylen Waddle, but this 1-2 punch would be one of the best this upcoming season.

Give Bo Nix all the weapons possible as this Broncos defense is going to continue to put pressure on the opponent. In a loaded AFC West, Diggs can be a major difference-maker. Having a wide receiver room with Waddle, Diggs, and Courtland Sutton would certainly make it difficult to defend. Denver also has cap space, with more than $29.7 million remaining, so there would not be any issue creating space for this deal.

Baltimore Ravens

The Baltimore Ravens are looking to finally give quarterback Lamar Jackson a playmaker on the outside, and Stefon Diggs would certainly fit that mold. Diggs is familiar with the area, being a former Maryland Terrapin, but this new-look Baltimore offense under Declan Doyle would be intriguing. The wide receivers in the organization are young, with rookies Ja’Kobi Lane and Elijah Sarratt being asked to be potential starters right away.

Diggs would certainly fit the mold, and a three-headed monster of him, Jackson, and running back Derrick Henry can cause defenses a lot of problems. The Ravens are looking to be a serious contender, and this move would prove that. Baltimore has cap space to make this a one-year deal before having to figure out Jackson’s long-term contract. This gives them a chance to be a legitimate AFC contender.
