Alexander Isak scored and provided two assists during Sweden's 5-1 victory over Tunisia in the early hours of Monday morning.
The Liverpool striker earned the official Player of the Match award as he helped his nation to an opening win at the World Cup in Group F.
Yasin Ayari opened the scoring for Sweden, which came ahead of Isak's well-taken finish after he drove at the defence to cut onto his right foot and fire into the net from the edge of the box.
Tunisia, though, reduced the deficit via Omar Rekik shortly before the half-time interval.
Isak, however, supplied a goal for Viktor Gyokeres on the hour mark as he won the ball high up the pitch to find his strike partner and help restore the two-goal advantage.
He then also set up Mattias Svanberg by flicking a bouncing delivery from a free-kick to his teammate just moments after he had entered the pitch, with Ayari striking his second and Sweden's final goal of the contest.
Isak's next outing at the World Cup will come on Saturday (June 20) when he will face a Netherlands outfit featuring Reds' teammates Virgil van Dijk, Cody Gakpo and Ryan Gravenberch.
