Reports from Paris are suggesting that Paris Saint-Germain winger Bradley Barcola has expressed a desire to leave the French capital this summer, with Arsenal and CHELSEA both monitoring the situation closely ahead of a potentially explosive transfer battle.
According to multiple reports in France, including updates from L’Équipe and other transfer insiders, Barcola has grown increasingly frustrated with his role at Parc des Princes following a season in which his minutes in the biggest matches were reduced.
The 23-year-old is said to feel he has slipped down the attacking pecking order under PSG manager Luis Enrique, behind the likes of Ousmane Dembélé, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, and Désiré Doué.
Sources close to the situation claim the France international has now communicated his wish to explore a move away this summer, with PSG reportedly aware of his concerns. While the Ligue 1 champions are not actively pushing him out, there is a growing acceptance that a sale could be considered if a suitable offer arrives and the player remains unsettled.
Barcola, who enjoyed a strong breakout campaign in 2024/25 before a more inconsistent 2025/26 season, remains highly valued in Paris, with reports suggesting a price tag in the region of £60 million.
PSG are understood to be open to retaining him, but only if he commits to a renewed role within the squad and resumes contract discussions that have stalled in recent months.
The situation has alerted several top European clubs, with Arsenal and CHELSEA both credited with long-standing interest in the winger.
Arsenal, in particular, are believed to be assessing wide-forward options as Mikel Arteta looks to add more pace and direct goal threat to his attacking unit ahead of next season’s Premier League and Champions League campaigns.
Chelsea, meanwhile, are also tracking developments as they continue their ongoing squad rebuild and look to add more proven attacking talent capable of delivering at the highest level.
Despite the growing speculation, no formal negotiations between clubs have taken place at this stage, and PSG’s internal stance remains fluid. The French giants are expected to make a final decision on Barcola’s future after assessing both player intentions and potential replacement options later in the window.
For now, the situation remains one of the more closely watched transfer storylines developing out of Paris, with Barcola’s reported desire to leave potentially triggering a Premier League bidding contest if PSG open the door to a sale.
