Marc Cucurella has discussed his future at Chelsea. The Spanish left back has answered questions about his next club. Currently, the Chelsea player is with the Spain national team for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
What did Marc Cucurella say about his Premier League future?
The 27-year-old has claimed that he is happy at Stamford Bridge. There are many transfer rumours in the market related to the player’s future. In spite of these stories, he has not expressed any kind of disappointment about his life with the Blues.
But there is something else going on in the market before the summer transfer window. As reported by Football London, Cucurella has informed the club about his intention to leave them in this transfer window. Big Spanish clubs like Barcelona and Atletico Madrid are ambitious to sign the defender. Consequently, people among Chelsea board know about the clubs’ interest for the Spaniard. The Blues are not seriously considering to sell their left back. However, if a suitable offer comes for him, the club will not hesitate to offload the Spain international.

As reported by Yahoo Sports, transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has came up with the biggest news about Marc Cucurella. The Italian journalist has revealed that the Spanish left back has reached an agreement with Spanish giant, Real Madrid. So, from next season he will be playing at Santiago Bernabeu.
Romano has posted on his X account, “EXCLUSIVE: Real Madrid reach verbal agreement to sign Marc Cucurella from Chelsea, HERE WE GO!”. His punchline “here we go” means the deal is almost done and the player will definitely will switch his club. It is a verbal agreement which means all personal terms have been agreed with the player. All the parties involved have given the green light for the transfer to happen.
The journalist has highlighted that **Los Blancos**‘ new coach, Jose Mourinho wants Marc Cucurella. So, the former Brighton man will join his new club after the world cup. Hence, Real Madrid will pay Chelsea the €50m release clause in his contract.
