If there’s one thing that clubs don’t want to happen in a transfer window, is to lose a player on a free transfer who they want to keep.
It has been widely reported that there are a number of players that Manchester United were happy (to a certain extent) to let leave for free.
Manchester United officially released 6 players just last week as they looked to move their squad on ahead of the new season.
Jadon Sancho and Tyrell Malacia were players that had no future at Old Trafford, whereas the money involved in keeping Casemiro was something that the hierarchy did not consider viable.
But while the decision to leave those three stars leave the club were well known, another relatively unknown future star has also gone out of the Manchester United doors.
And it’s one that has garnered interest from top clubs around Europe.
Darlington Osuchukwu is likely not a name known outside of hardcore football fans.
But the youngster has been making waves over the recent past.
Osuchukwu is a goalkeeper and was recently called up to represent Spain in an international tournament.
Just last month, numerous Manchester United players confirmed that he was going to leave the club and it seems as if that has now happened.
The Talent Hunter has confirmed that Darlington Osuchukwu has now left Manchester United.
Reporting on Instagram, the page notes that multiple top European clubs are showing significant interest in signing the Spanish goalkeeper.
While the move was not unexpected, with the messages from the other United players showing that they knew it was going to happen, the news is still disappointing.
Manchester United are not a club that like to lose top young talent and seeing one leave on a free transfer will hurt.
But for Darlington Osuchukwu, it will be an opportunity to experience a new club and potentially a new environment if he decides to continue his career abroad.
