Anthony Martial could be set for a surprise reunion with INEOS.
Fresh reports have claimed that the French forward is attracting from three clubs.
The former Manchester United striker became a free agent earlier this month after his contract with Monterrey was terminated.
The decision brought an early end to his spell in Mexico despite having the option to remain until 2028.
Martial’s future has been the subject of speculation before.
During his final years at Old Trafford, reports suggested that the forward had even been offered to Tottenham Hotspur.
He eventually left Manchester United as a free agent in the summer of 2024 after almost a decade at the club.
Now, another unexpected opportunity could be emerging.
According to French outlet MediaFoot, OGC Nice are among three Ligue 1 clubs showing interest in signing Anthony Martial.
Paris FC and Troyes are also said to have made enquiries as the 30-year-old weighs up his next move.
Nice’s involvement is particularly eye-catching because the club is owned by Sir Jim Ratcliffe’s INEOS.
The company also owns a significant stake in Manchester United and oversees football operations at Old Trafford.
Martial enjoyed some memorable moments during his United career.
He made over 300 appearances with the first team and scored close to 100 goals.
He famously announced himself with a goal against Liverpool on his debut before helping the club win the FA Cup, League Cup and Europa League.
However, his career has also included difficult spells away from Manchester, with loan time at Sevilla followed by moves to AEK Athens and Monterrey.
MediaFoot claims that despite those struggles, the former France international still has admirers in his homeland.
Several clubs believe he could rediscover his best form.
Whether that next chapter comes under the INEOS umbrella remains to be seen, but Martial is back on the market and attracting attention.
