Michael Carrick continues to drive transformation at Manchester United as a fresh chapter opens at Old Trafford. The United legend has already left his imprint on the squad but hopes to distance himself even further from predecessor Ruben Amorim.

This follows news that the club has secured a record-breaking deal that has positioned them ahead of rivals including Arsenal and Manchester City. Carrick has already restored United to their rightful place after guaranteeing Champions League football and now has further milestones within reach.

Meanwhile, the club is aiming to make headway on Marcus Rashford's transfer situation following his loan stint at Barcelona. brings together today's key stories as United seek to advance two major pieces of business both on and off the field.

Bayern made Rashford inquiry

After watching a coveted transfer to Barcelona collapse, Rashford could still join another European heavyweight. Fabrizio Romano revealed Bayern Munich have expressed their interest and approached officials at Old Trafford regarding a potential deal.

The Italian said on his podcast that contact has been made by the Bundesliga champions. Barcelona appear to have abandoned their pursuit of a permanent transfer for Rashford despite his productive loan stint at the Camp Nou.

Los Cules have splashed out a substantial £70m to secure Rashford's England colleague Anthony Gordon from Newcastle in an even clearer indication the deal has collapsed. Bayern, for their part, are advancing their own plans and have just confirmed a £45m agreement to bring in PSV and Morocco star Ismael Saibari.

This could suggest Bayern have also drawn a line under any potential pursuit of Rashford given that the two players occupy similar roles. A move to Bavaria would have seen Rashford team up with Three Lions captain Harry Kane.

However, the capture of Morocco talisman Saibari may indicate Die Roten have already identified their man to fill that void in attack.

United are poised to receive the Amazon treatment after reports emerged they'll become the next club featured in an 'All Or Nothing' documentary series. Carrick's first full campaign in charge will be charted in unprecedented detail after word surfaced that United have struck a lucrative agreement to be placed under scrutiny.

No previous All Or Nothing sport series can rival the reported £10million United will allegedly receive for the privilege. That exceeds what Arsenal, Tottenham or Manchester City earned from their corresponding agreements.

It's claimed the club were also contacted about permitting film crews access during Ruben Amorim's final season at Old Trafford. The Portuguese coach, however, appeared far more hesitant about the proposal than his replacement.

Carrick's willingness to approve the comprehensive coverage during such a pivotal season suggests a notable degree of self-assurance from the manager. Meanwhile, Amorim might feel justified in his decision to reject cameras last season following his dismissal in January.

Filming is expected to commence shortly, beginning with United's pre-season tour across Europe. The All Or Nothing production team will also track the club's women's and academy squads throughout the 2026/27 season.
