Hull City tipped for discussions with Manchester United over return for Toby Collyer
Hull City would reportedly like to discuss the possibility of a return for Manchester United midfielder Toby Collyer.
After struggling to make an impact in the Midlands, Collyer was sent to the MKM Stadium for a loan stint in January.
Injury disrupted his time at the club and limited his involvement in their promotion-winning Championship campaign. Despite making just five league appearances, Collyer appears to have made an impression on Tigers manager Sergej Jakirovic.

Hull City linked with Manchester United midfielder
According to Mail Online, Hull would like to engage in talks with Manchester United over another move for the midfielder.
The Tigers are said to feel Collyer could benefit from a full pre-season and develop into a player capable of an immediate Premier League impact.
It has not been specified whether it is another loan deal Hull would seek or whether they would explore the possibility of buying him.
Toby Collyer’s profile
A former England youth international, Collyer described himself as an “intelligent” player after arriving at Hull in January.
He said: “It’s been a while coming. I know there was interest and a possibility in the summer, but now I’m really happy to have been able to make it happen in this window. The style of play the manager likes to bring to his players is really good for me – high energy, high output.
“I would say I’m an intelligent player and I always like to improve. Hard work is fundamental – otherwise, you won’t get to where you want to get to.

“The Championship is different to the Premier League – it’s hectic but I like it. You face challenges every day in training and in matches and it’s a great league to get better.
“My target was to get back out and play as many minutes as possible in a different environment and challenge myself. I’m looking forward to the atmosphere, seeing the fans and playing with my new teammates. I’ll always work hard for the badge and for the fans.”
