Arsenal supporters have taken to social media in large numbers following reports from Spain suggesting Barcelona could be prepared to sell attacking midfielder Dani Olmo for a fee of around £60 million this summer.
The Spain international has long been admired across Europe for his creativity, versatility and technical quality, and the latest rumours have sparked excitement among many Arsenal fans eager to see the club add another proven attacking talent to Mikel Arteta’s squad.
With Arsenal expected to strengthen their forward options ahead of another Premier League title challenge, many supporters believe Olmo would be an ideal addition to the Emirates.
One fan posted: “If Dani Olmo is genuinely available for £60m, Arsenal should be all over that deal. Proven quality and still in his prime.”

The speculation quickly gathered momentum online, with many fans urging sporting director Andrea Berta and the club’s recruitment team to act swiftly before rival clubs enter the race: “Get it done before anyone else wakes up,” one Arsenal supporter posted.
Another added: “£60 million for Dani Olmo in today’s market is a bargain. Arsenal cannot let this opportunity pass.”
Some fans even suggested the Spaniard could provide the missing spark needed to help Arsenal finally secure major silverware: “We’ve got a great team already. Add Olmo and that attack becomes frightening,” one supporter wrote.
Another post read: “Olmo behind Saka, Martinelli and a new striker? Sign me up immediately.”
Many supporters pointed to Olmo’s performances for both club and country as evidence that he would be a perfect fit for Arteta’s possession-based system, One fan commented: “Technically elite, works hard off the ball and can unlock low blocks. He’s made for Arsenal.”
Another wrote: “Dani Olmo understands positional football better than most players in Europe. Arteta would love him.”
Not all supporters were convinced, however. A minority questioned whether the reported £60 million fee would represent good value given concerns over injuries during parts of his career: “Fantastic player when fit, but availability matters too,” one fan noted.
Despite those reservations, the overall reaction across social media appeared overwhelmingly positive. Many Arsenal supporters believe Olmo possesses the experience, creativity and intelligence required to elevate the squad to the next level.
For now, the reports remain speculative, but if Barcelona are indeed willing to listen to offers, Arsenal fans have made one thing clear online: they want their club to move quickly and do everything possible to bring Dani Olmo to North London.
