West Ham are braced for a £50m bid for winger Crysencio Summerville from Manchester United. The Red Devils are already hoping to land Hammers midfielder Mateus Fernandes, and could now add Summerville to their list.
The Dutch winger, who scored for the Netherlands in their 2-2 World Cup draw with Japan this week, is one of many players who could leave the London Stadium this summer, after West Ham were relegated to the Championship.
The club insist they are under no pressure to sell, but the likelihood is that stars such as Summerville and Fernandes will be moving on.
Summerville was a big hit in the Championship with Leeds United, winning the player of the year award before moving to East London in 2024 in a deal worth £25m.
Meanwhile, West Ham have been linked with a move for Watford winger Nestory Irankunda as Nuno Espirito Santo prepares for life in the second tier.

Milan eye Blues winger
AC Milan are in talks to sign Birmingham City hot prospect Aurelien Guernier, according to reports. The 18-year-old striker winger likely to leave St Andrews this summer, with Italian giants Milan said to be at the head of the queue.
Sporting Lisbon have also been linked with a move for Guernier, who has yet to make his debut for the Blues' first team.
Clark deal
Derby County are said to be close to agreeing a deal to sign former Liverpool youngster Bobby Clark on a permanent deal. Clark, son of Hartlepool United manager Lee, moved to Pride Park on loan from RB Salzburg last season and impressed.
Now the Rams are hoping to make the deal permanent, with a deal worth around £6m close to being agreed.
Strachan switch
Former Boro star James Morrison is keen to add Gavin Strachan to his coaching staff at West Bromwich Albion. Strachan, son of ex-Boro manager Gordon, has been at Celtic for the past six years, working under coaches such as Ange Postecoglou and Brendan Rodgers.
However, Morrison is said to want to bring him to the Hawthorns as nis new No 2 as he looks to build on their positive end to last season.
Watford appoint (again)
Alessio Dionisi has been appointed as Watford's new manager, with the Italian agreeing a two-year deal at Vicarage Road.
He replaces Ed Still, who left the club in May after just three months at the helm. Dionisi, who was sacked by Empoli in March, becomes Watford's 12th permanent head coach in the last five years.
"Alessio has been on our radar for a long period and we are really pleased to have reached an agreement with him," sporting director Gianluca Nani said. "We made it clear we were looking for an experienced coach who has won leagues and been promoted - and Alessio fits the profile."
