The glamorous partner of former Chelsea star Marc Cucurella has admitted she is struggling to find the words to tell her children that the defender will no longer represent the Blues following his big money switch to Real Madrid.
Rumours surrounding the curly-haired Cucurella's future at Stamford Bridge had been swirling for weeks, yet the confirmation that a deal had been struck for him to join Spanish giants Real still caught many off guard when it was officially announced on Sunday evening – not least because the 27-year-old is currently stateside with his native Spain at the World Cup.
Cucurella heads to Jose Mourinho's side for a sweet £51.7million fee, including add-ons. He arrived at Chelsea from Brighton in 2022 after catching the eye during his time with the Seagulls in the Premier League.

"I feel so lucky for everything we've shared these past years. I arrived with two babies and I'm leaving with two little boys and a British girl, and I don't know how I'm going to explain to them that Chelsea is no longer part of our lives.
