Ruben Amorim officially joins AC Milan

Ruben Amorim has completed the next step in his managerial career, moving on from his reign at Manchester United and onto a better future.
The Portuguese manager, who was sacked by Manchester United in January, has been on a mission to find his next managerial job.
His time at Sporting CP offered great promise, with two Liga Portugal titles during his time at the club, demonstrating to clubs the potential that he has.
His track record, which has been successful outside of England, arguably attracted the attention of Italian giants AC Milan.
The Italian club is on a mission to change for the better after a fifth place finish in Serie A last season with several key names including Massimiliano Allegri leaving.
Amorim quickly emerged as a leading contender for the new manager role and, now, the club has officially announced that the former United manager has taken over at the club.

Signing an initial two-year contract with an option of a third, AC Milan revealed the news on the club’s official X account, saying: “Welcoming our new head coach, Ruben Amorim”
Ruben Amorim’s next club is finally upon him and represents a chance to put the turbulence of his reign at Manchester United behind him.
However, links with his former club are already emerging as the transfer window is getting into full swing.
Reports have emerged linking Amorim with his two-time former midfielder Manuel Ugarte, as Manchester United are looking to offload their unwanted man, offering him to AC Milan.
However, it remains to be seen whether a move will take place, considering Amorim’s reluctance to use him at Old Trafford.
Either way, a huge summer now lies ahead for the manager before beginning his first season in charge of the club.
