Old Trafford has been getting more expensive to watch, and the way it is charged for has been changing too.
Manchester United have just raised general admission season tickets five per cent for 2026/27, with the cheapest adult seat now £646 and renewal tied to attending 16 of the 19 home league games.
The part that stung most came earlier, as supporters who had sat near the dugout for years were moved out, and the area was turned into something pricier.
They protested repeatedly from their relocated seats in front of the directors’ box, now this week brought the clearest explanation yet for where those seats had gone.
Manchester United taken to their official website to name Elevate as their first-ever Official Hospitality Partner, effective for 2026/27.
The club’s first dedicated hospitality deal widens the matchday menu into fine dining, a pub-style setup, an in-stadium experience, or a pre-match restaurant in the city centre, plus one-off extras like stadium tours, on-pitch photos with the first team and Q&As with club legends.
A report from the BBC added the packages include a meet-and-greet with a first-team player, a photo with the captain, an Old Trafford “dugout club experience”, even the chance to plant the corner flag, all built around padded seating directly behind the dugout.
Marc Armstrong, United’s chief business officer, said: “We’re delighted to welcome Elevate as our Official Hospitality Partner.”
He continued: “With a proven track record of delivering high-quality, premium matchday experiences, Elevate will help us broaden our hospitality offering, providing greater choice for fans who want it, alongside our broad range of general admission options.”
Alongside this, Elevate’s president of venue sales, Flavil Mapsten, commented: “At Elevate, our expertise is delivering best-in-class hospitality and creating unforgettable matchday experiences for fans.”
He continued: “We are delighted to partner with such a historic club as Manchester United and are excited to help take the club’s hospitality to the next level in a way that respects the club, its supporters, and Old Trafford’s unrivalled matchday atmosphere.”
