The summer transfer window is kicking into gear with Arsenal, Chelsea, Tottenham, Liverpool and Manchester United all working on deals to bolster their respective squad ahead of the new season. The Gunners' top two targets are said to be Morgan Rogers and Ayyoub Bouaddi, but with both players at the World Cup, ultimately it's a waiting game.
The Premier League champions are also exploring a deal for Christos Tzolis, but suggestions of a swap deal involving Atletico Madrid striker Julian Alvarez and Viktor Gyokeres are thought to be wide of the mark. Chelsea, meanwhile, are planning to reinvest the money from the Marc Cucurella sale to Real Madrid back into the squad and Lewis Hall has been mentioned as a potential replacement, though the Blues may face competition from Man United to re-sign the defender.
Ederson is on his way to Old Trafford with Man Utd also credited with interest in a double swoop for West Ham duo Crysencio Summerville and Mateus Fernandes. Elsewhere, Tottenham have agreed a deal with Brighton for Jan Paul van Hecke but will have to pay at least £100m to sign Sandro Tonali. Liverpool are considering a move for Rayan as an alternative to Yan Diomande. Follow the latest transfer news, gossip and rumours live below!

West Ham yet to hear from Man Utd over Summerville
West Ham have not received an enquiry from Manchester United over Crysencio Summerville.
Man Utd have been linked with interest in the winger, as manager Michael Carrick looks to strength the left-hand side of his attack,
It was reported earlier today that United have made their first move to sign Summerville - who is currently with the Netherlands at the World Cup.
But Standard Sport understands West Ham are yet to received any enquiry for the player.
When Hincapie will complete permanent Arsenal transfer
Arsenal signed Hincapie on loan late last summer but that was always with a view to a permanent move.
After a window of huge spending, pushing back the outlay on Hincapie to the next financial year suited Arsenal in order to comply with financial regulations.
Bayer Leverkusen were happy too, having already made the big sales of Florian Wirtz and Jeremie Frimpong that summer. It was more beneficial for them to start getting the payments for Hincapie a year later.
There has never been any real doubt that Hincapie would eventually join Arsenal permanently.
Why Tottenham move for Tonali could be perfect for club and player
Tottenham are in the market for a statement signing to underline their commitment to Roberto De Zerbi ahead of next season.
After successive 17th-place finishes, Spurs are determined to push on under the deeply ambitious, but combustible, De Zerbi after he secured Premier League survival on the final day with a 1-0 win at home to Everton last month.
In looking for a player to raise the ceiling for a squad desperately short of technical quality, they appear to have landed on Newcastle midfielder Sandro Tonali, with De Zerbi keen to bring his fellow countryman to north London.
The Spurs ownership are also backing De Zerbi in his pursuit of Tonali, though contact has only been made with his representatives and not with Newcastle.
The upside of any deal is obvious for Spurs, who lack creativity in the middle of the park. But what is in it for Tonali? This, after all, is a player who has courted the attention of some of Europe’s biggest clubs since first drawing parallels to the effortlessly classy Italian World Cup winner Andrea Pirlo while he was at Brescia.

Spurs advancing with Tonali talks
Tottenham are advancing in a deal for Sandro Tonali.
The Athletic report that Spurs have held positive talks with the player’s representatives to sound out Tonali’s interest. An approach to Newcastle will then be made.
Spurs are more advanced than both Arsenal and Manchester City as they look for a statement signing, with interest being driven by head coach Roberto De Zerbi.
Arsenal eye deal for Tottenham defender
Arsenal are exploring a deal to sign Elijah Upson — son of former Arsenal and England centre-back Matthew.
The 18-year-old is set to leave Tottenham later this month following the expiry of his contract, after not being offered fresh terms by Spurs.
The Athletic report that the Gunners could swoop to snap up the defender.
Man Utd make Summerville move
Manchester United have made their first move to sign Crysencio Summerville from West Ham.
The Athletic report that contact has been made between the two clubs, with United one of many potential suitors.
An asking price of £50million has been mooted, though United will be keen to get a deal over the line sooner rather than later.
Summerville scored as the Netherlands were held to a 2-2 draw by Japan in their opening game.
Chelsea plan two major signings after Cucurella exit
Chelsea plan to reinvest in their squad by signing at least two top players this summer, after agreeing to sell Marc Cucurella to Real Madrid, writes Dom Smith.
The completion of Cucurella’s move to the Bernabeu - worth up to £51.8million including add-ons - came on Sunday after talks had progressed at pace.
Cucurella’s exit after the World Cup campaign with Spain will leave Jorrel Hato, 20, as the only senior left-back at Stamford Bridge.
But Standard Sport understands that Chelsea plan to add the money recouped from Cucurella’s sale to the funds they have already made available for the summer window.
While they could end up making multiple signings, at least two are set to be starting-level talents.
Van Hecke reveals update on Tottenham move
Tottenham transfer target Jan Paul van Hecke has revealed clarity over his future will come after the 2026 World Cup.
Spurs have seen two bids for the Brighton centre-back rejected, though a third offer is thought to be imminent with the Van Hecke said to be keen on a reunion with former manager Roberto De Zerbi.
Brighton value the 26-year-old at around £70million, despite the defender approaching the final 12 months of his contract at the Amex Stadium.
The Netherlands international has spoken out about his future for the first time since links to Tottenham emerged.

Man Utd book Ederson medical
Manchester United are closing in on the signing of Ederson, with the midfielder set to undergo a medical.
As per the The Athletic, a deal was struck earlier in the month to make Ederson the first new arrival at Old Trafford this summer.
It is understood that Man United will pay Atalanta a €40.5million (£34.9million) fixed fee plus €4.5m (£3.8m) of potential bonuses, while Ederson has agreed a four-year contract which includes the option of an additional 12 months.
Confirmation for the deal had been delayed because of Ederson being called up to the Brazil squad for the 2026 World Cup, as a late replacement for the injured Wesley.
However, reports in Italy claim an announcement is imminent now that Brazil’s first game of the tournament - a 1-1 draw with Morocco - is out of the way.
Arsenal told new Rogers price
Arsenal, Manchester United and Chelsea have been told they may need to pay up to £100 million to sign Morgan Rogers this summer.
Aston Villa are under no pressure to sell, having tied Rogers to a long-term contract, which strengthens their position in negotiations.
The Athletic report that interest from several top clubs could spark a bidding war, driving the price even higher than the originally mooted £80million.
It is now thought that Villa could pocket close to the £100m Man City paid for Jack Grealish five years ago.
