Patrick Mahomes Reacts To Lionel Messi’s Hat-Trick

Lionel Messi went viral on Tuesday for completing a hat-trick against Algeria in the FIFA World Cup 2026. The Argentinian forward led his national team to a 3-0 victory, scoring in the 17th, 60th and 76th minutes.

Messi made history with his first World Cup hat-trick. His three-goal performance pushed his total to 16 career tournament goals, tying him with Germany’s Miroslav Klose as the all-time leading scorer in men’s World Cup history.

Meanwhile, Mahomes completed 315-of-502 passes for 3,587 yards, 22 touchdowns and 11 interceptions in 2025. He added 64 rushing attempts for 422 yards and five scores.
