[](https://www.joebucsfan.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/06/RobinsonMcMillan.png)NFL coaches love to moan about not having enough practice time. It gets old.
Today, Todd Bowles canceled Day 3 (Thursday) of the Bucs’ scheduled three-day mandatory minicamp.
It seems Bowles thinks the team has accomplished its spring goals. That’s a good sign. Joe suspects if new offensive coordiator Zac Robinson felt he needed one more day, the team would be practicing Thursday in some capacity.
A shortened minicamp is nothing new at One Buc Palace or around the NFL. Heck, the Rams and 49ers canceled theirs entirely this season. Of course, those teams have had the same head coaches in place for a long, long time, per NFL standards.
After the final minicamp practice today, which is strictly glorified flag football, the Bucs will return to the field July 30 for Day 1 of 2026 training camp.
