Three Kings sign with NFL teams

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - Louisville Kings receivers Lucky Jackson and Tarik Black, along with kicker Tanner Brown are headed to the NFL.

Jackson and Black were announced as being signed by the Detroit Lions by the team on X, alongside fellow receiver Tay Martin who comes from the Columbus Aviators.

The signings of Jackson and Black coincides with Lions’ receiver Kendrick Law being placed on the Injured Reserve list.

Brown, who was named UFL Special Teams Player of the Year, has been signed by the New Orleans Saints. He connected on three 4-point field goals this year.

Jackson and Black ranked back-to-back in the UFL’s receiving yard leaders and second and third on the Kings, respectively.

Jackson caught 32 passes for 392 yards and two touchdowns. Black had 27 catches for 388 yards and three touchdowns. Martin ranked seventh in the league with 483 yards on 42 catches and two scores.
