Barcelona handed bad news in bid to secure second loan for Marcus Rashford

According to ESPN, sources at United say they “have no plans to negotiate a new loan agreement” and will turn down “any attempt by Barcelona to agree a fresh loan for Rashford.”

Rashford is expected back at Manchester United after the World Cup but is not expected to stay. The report adds that “intermediaries are being invited to bring realistic proposals to the table” for next season.

Barcelona’s decision to sign Anthony Gordon looks to have ended Rashford’s hopes of staying on at Camp Nou, but it remains to be seen where he’ll play his football next season.
