Manchester United have reportedly ignited their pursuit of Crysencio Summerville by opening talks with West Ham.
That’s according to one transfer insider, who adds that the player’s agent has given the full green light over the potential move.

Summerville and United: The state of play
With personal terms not expected to be an issue, United can instead focus on what kind of fee they’ll be paying for the 24-year-old.
Summerville has spent the last six years plying his trade in England, five of which came in the top flight through his spells with Leeds United and West Ham.

Summerville’s record for the two sides in all competitions
Now that the Irons have fallen victim to the dreaded drop and will be playing in the Championship next term, he’s being linked with a move elsewhere – and Old Trafford is a plausible destination.
INEOS plotting double-swoop for Summerville and teammate
The Red Devils have set their sights on Summerville after scouring the market for a suitable winger to bring in this summer, with Jadon Sancho and Marcus Rashford both poised to depart; the former’s release has already been confirmed by the club ahead of his contract expiring at the end of the month.
Alas, the Hammers starlet poses as an exciting candidate who’s already proven himself in the Premier League and, last weekend, netted a sensational goal on football’s biggest stage when scoring for the Netherlands at the World Cup.

Indeed, Summerville restored his nation’s lead in the second half through a tremendous strike, but saw his efforts rendered in vain when Japan equalised in the closing stages of the sides’ opener.
It’s thought United will make use of their interest in both the attacker and his club teammate Mateus Fernandes by completing a double transfer, which could set INEOS back around £130 million.
