Arsenal have sent an official opening bid to Leicester City to sign English attacker Jeremy Monga, according to Fabrizio Romano.
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta wants attacking reinforcements at the Emirates Stadium club as the Gunners plot a Premier League title defence next term.
Monga wants to join the North London club and it is believed a deal can be agreed very soon.
The 16-year-old is highly rated and while he is seen as one for the future, he has what it takes to become a key member of the Arsenal first-team next season.

The Gunners sporting director Andrea Berta has met with his representatives, relaying a pathway to senior football at the club similar to Dowman.
Monga featured in 30 games for the Foxes last season, starting ten times and weighing in with one goal and two assists in the Championship.
He played seven times off the bench in the Premier League for them in 2024-25 and will fancy his chances of forcing his way into Arteta’s plans.
