All you need to know about Marcus Rashford's future at Manchester United...

Manchester United are looking to sell Marcus Rashford during the transfer window, after Barcelona decided against signing him on a permanent deal for £26million.

Rashford had a productive loan spell at the Nou Camp, with 28 goal contributions in 49 games, but Barca signed Anthony Gordon instead.

The 28-year-old has a £40million release clause in his United contract and is on the market this summer, with a reintegration into Michael Carrick's squad considered very unlikely.

Bayern Munich have considered making a move for the 28-year-old and there is also expected to be Premier League interest in Rashford.

He was exiled from the United first-team squad under Ruben Amorim and there is expected to be no way back this summer, with the club also keen to offload his £325,000-a-week wages.

After spending the last 18 months on loan at Aston Villa and Barcelona, United are keen to find a permanent transfer for their academy graduate this summer.

There is hope within the club that a strong World Cup would strengthen their hand in negotiations, while also attracting more interest in Rashford.

He began England's tournament opener against Croatia on the bench but scored as a second-half substitute and there is a growing demand for him to start against Ghana.

Rashford now has 19 goals for England and after coming on to replace Gordon, he could have the place of the man who replaced him at the Nou Camp in his sights.
