Premier League champions Arsenal have submitted a bid to sign Leicester City wonderkid Jeremy Monga, according to reports.
Fabrizio Romano has reported that the Gunners have made their opening offer for the 16-year-old. Monga's professional contract is scheduled to commence when he turns 17 on July 10 after signing a scholarship 12 months ago.
The journalist has claimed that Monga is keen on moving to north London and there is optimism that the deal can progress. football.london has reported that a deal between £10-15million is what has been discussed.
It's understood that a consideration has been made whether a season playing for City in League One on a weekly basis would be better for Monga's development rather than spending another year in academy football.

Monga has been part of the Foxes first-team since the end of the 2024/25 campaign. He came off the bench in seven of Ruud van Nistelrooy's final eight games in the Premier League before playing 30 times across all competitions last term.
His last appearance away from senior football at club level came on April 27 2025 when he played in the Under-21s' Premier League 2 play-off defeat to Southampton.

At Arsenal, it's seemingly unlikely that he will be part of Mikel Arteta's first team next season. The Gunners will defend their Premier League title and look to compete at the highest level in the UEFA Champions League.
Max Dowman, Monga's England youth team teammate, is as highly-thought of in the capital and he played 13 games last season. Arteta already has Eberechi Eze, Gabriel Martinelli and Leandro Trossard as current first-team options in Monga's position.
