Former Manchester United striker Louis Saha has claimed that Yan Diomande could be as good as Barcelona superstar Lamine Yamal amid transfer interest from Liverpool and PSG.
RB Leipzig is desperate to keep Diomande for another 12 months, having set a valuation well above $100M. The German side only signed the Ivory Coast star a year ago when he was snapped up from Leganes in Spain.
After scoring 13 goals and providing 10 assists in all competitions, though, Diomande is in demand. At this summer's World Cup, he has already looked like being capable of taking the next in his career very quickly.
"I think Diomande had a great opening game, and it's been a year with Leipzig where he's done really well," Saha said.
"I am pleased to see that kind of career because it was not easy starting in the US and now being a superstar. I think he can be a superstar like Yamal.
"Those guys, I remember in 2006, Franck Ribery, I found out about him only a few months before joining the camp, and he shone in that World Cup with his brilliance and his innocence. I love that."

Diomande is fast and direct and his dribbling ability is exactly what Liverpool was lacking last term in wide areas. Though he would not come cheap, the 19-year-old is clearly a major talent.
"Manchester United should hijack Liverpool’s interest in Diomande, definitely," Saha, speaking to Casinolyze, continued.
"This type of winger now dominates football. When you have that confidence and simplicity in your game, to dribble, pass, be physical, and be courageous, I love that."
With wingers a priority for Liverpool this summer, a $46 million (£35 million) deal for Victor Munoz also looks set to go through.

"Think roadrunner," Spanish soccer writer Ruairidh Barlow told Liverpool.com. "Everything Victor Munoz does is acceleration, and it looks like his legs are moving at a different rate to everyone else.
"Primarily, he's a winger, who goes at defenders and looks to either get inside and shoot, or get outside and hit the by-line. That's the first thing you'll see, and his pace really does jump out at you.
"Within that pace, he has good feet, and fairly strong technique, but his defining trait is that he wants to stretch defenses to breaking point, and he can be a bit of a tornado in the right circumstances."
