La Liga giants Real Madrid are set for an imminent financial boost, courtesy of a 50% cut of Víctor Muñoz’s transfer from Osasuna to Liverpool.
Attacker Muñoz is of course all set to take his talents to England over the days ahead.
After it first appeared as though Newcastle United were the Spanish international’s summer landing spot, Premier League rivals Liverpool hijacked the Magpies’ move at the last.
Muñoz, in turn, is primed to put pen to paper on terms at Anfield at any moment.
And as alluded to above, current club Osasuna will not be the only ones to benefit financially from the transfer coming to fruition.
Real Madrid sold the 22-year-old to the Rojillos last summer. And as part of the terms of the deal, Florentino Pérez and co. secured for themselves a 50% sell-on clause.
As per a report from journalist Fabrizio Romano, Real are therefore in line for an imminent €20 million cash injection.
