Denver Broncos quarterback Bo Nix was the sixth QB off the board in the 2024 NFL Draft.
He might end up being the best of the bunch.
Nix, Caleb Williams, Jayden Daniels, Drake Maye, Michael Penix Jr. and J.J. McCarthy will forever be linked.
And while four of those six have made the playoffs at least once in their first two years, Nix is the only one to make the postseason both in 2024 and 2025.
Daniels had a great rookie season and Williams and Maye were excellent in their sophomore campaigns, but no one’s put it together both years like Nix.

Still, it feels like he doesn’t get the hype of Williams, Daniels and Maye — while Penix in Atlanta and McCarthy in Minnesota have taken a back seat.
But Danny Parkins of “First Things First” on FOX Sports is giving Bo Nix his due. This segment below is going a bit viral.
.@DannyParkins thinks Bo Nix isn't getting enough credit among the 2024 1st-round QBs 👀

The stats shown during the segment are revealing.
Bo Nix has more wins, touchdowns and yards than Williams, Daniels and Maye. His 24 victories through two seasons completely blow the other three out of the water. As do his 63 total TDs, which are 11 more than the next closest in Maye.
“I would look at that and say Bo Nix is just being way underserved in the marketplace of what this guy can actually be,” Parkins said.

The hosts then get a little off into the weeds, saying the other teams are winning because of their quarterbacks, which might not be the case with Nix.
While a lot of Broncos Country will disagree with that, Denver’s defense is excellent and they did win a lot of ugly games last season. Comebacks were also a huge part of the identity of Nix and the rest of the squad.
But that’s actually a skill. The Broncos were seemingly never out of any contest, with the best example being the incredible rally against the New York Giants.
At the end of the day, Nix was phenomenal value for the Broncos with the No. 12 overall pick. And if he ends up being the top QB in the class, which is the direction he’s trending, it’d be a historically great pick by Sean Payton and George Paton.
If the Broncos have another season in which the No. 1 seed in the AFC is a possibility, Bo Nix will continue to get more and more respect.
