“Kansas City, Argentina Soccer”: Patrick Mahomes’ Mother Randi Shows Her Colors as Gracie Hunt…

Patrick Mahomes brought his entire family to watch Lionel Messi take on Algeria a couple of days ago. Apart from his wife and kids, the Chiefs signal-caller also had his mom and brother accompany him.

Randi Mahomes, of course, had to share a few highlights from the special day, revealing that she totally was in support of Argentina at the game. Patrick has always been an admirer of Messi, and perhaps Randi followed in the same footsteps.

“Kansas City, Argentina soccer, and family time… doesn’t get much better than that (blue heart emoji, soccer ball emoji) So much fun cheering on Argentina and making memories with some of my favorite people!” Randi Mahomes wrote in her Instagram post.

Not just Randi Mahomes, but Gracie Hunt too shared a celebratory post for Lionel Messi from the game at GEHA Field. Gracie is the official hospitality partner for FIFA in Kansas City and has been taking her job very seriously.

Meanwhile, Patrick Mahomes was delighted, as practically every other soccer fan, sharing his reaction to Messi’s historic hat-trick. The playmaker was also joined at the game by none other than his own wife, who may share a stronger bond with soccer when compared to him. Brittany played soccer during her college years and even has a minority ownership of the KC Current in the NWSL.

Patrick Mahomes’ Expensive Contract Extension Raises Eyebrows

On another note, Patrick Mahomes was recently granted a whopping contract extension by KC, and of course, the playmaker gladly accepted. The deal officially makes Mahomes the highest-paid signal-caller in the league right now, even surpassing Dak Prescott, who held the record until late.

While Mahomes is obviously the biggest star on the KC roster right now, there were many who raised their eyebrows at whether the guy actually deserves this. Mahomes is a performer, but his numbers have not exactly stacked up in the last couple of campaigns. This has even made many speculate that the playmaker’s best years are well behind him and that things cannot get any better than this.

The raised eyebrows come mainly as a result of Mahomes’ nasty injury from the previous campaign. Mahomes seems to be on the path to full recovery, and while the Chiefs are continuing to beat the drum that he will start for them in Week 1, others are not too convinced.
