Carolina Panthers versatile offensive lineman Brady Christensen started four games at right guard before suffering a season-ending ruptured Achilles tendon in Week 8 against the Buffalo Bills, which required surgery on October 29. As a result, the former third-round pick with 34 career starts remains unsigned largely because he is recovering from the injury and will likely sign once he is medically cleared to play. Since the Panthers’ backup interior offensive line is relatively weak, a reunion is still possible at a later date.

According to an X handle, Panthers on Tap, the Panthers have kept in touch with Brady Christensen throughout the offseason. The good news is that he is expected to be cleared by the start of training camp, roughly nine months after Achilles surgery, and he should be available for the regular-season opener. The team may have Christensen pass a physical before signing him. A reunion would immediately bolster the offensive line given his versatility and ability to play all five positions.
Free agent offensive lineman Brady Christensen is expected to be cleared by the start of training camp next month, per source.
He ruptured his Achilles in Week 8 of last year against the Buffalo Bills.
I’m told the Panthers have kept in touch.

Fans react to the latest development
Shouldn’t even be up for debate. Bring this man back. Starting caliber guard for depth and should be relatively cheap considering he’s coming off of injury

Yes, if/when he’s 100%, we should def resign him and bring him into camp. Iron sharpens iron
