FRISCO, Texas (KLTV) - ESPN’s Todd Archer reported Thursday that the Dallas Cowboys signed former Daingerfield Tiger Denzel Mims.
Mims last played in the NFL for the New York Jets in 2022.
Mims signed with the UFL’s St. Louis Battlehawks in 2024 and played one season in St. Louis and one with the Dallas Renegades. In two UFL seasons, he caught 11 passes for 106 yards in 11 games.
Mims was drafted by the Jets in the second round of the 2020 NFL draft out of Baylor. In three seasons with the Jets, Mims caught 42 passes for 676 yards. Mims also spent time with the Detroit Lions, Pittsburgh Steelers and Jacksonville Jaguars.
