Liverpool have already snapped up one new attacker after hijacking Newcastle's move for Victor Munoz and are now seemingly leading the race to sign Yan Diomande

Liverpool are emerging as frontrunners in the race to sign Yan Diomande this summer and are understood to have informed RB Leipzig they are willing to pay almost €100million (£86.7m) to sign the attacker.
However, it has subsequently been claimed that the German outfit have already rebuffed Liverpool's offer, with a package closer to €120m (£104.1m) likely to be needed in order to get a deal done.
The news comes hot on the heels of their stunning swoop for Victor Munoz, who was Newcastle-bound before Liverpool hijacked the deal at the eleventh hour. He has since been confirmed as a Reds player, joining for £34.5m from Osasuna.
Liverpool are in the market for new attackers this summer with their talisman, Mohamed Salah, set to move on.
And while it seems the chances of Liverpool getting a blockbuster deal for Diomande done is growing with The Athletic reporting their latest stance.
However, reports from Italy quickly broke outlining that RB Leipzig will not sell at that price and that the proposal had been rejected.
Diomande has other suitors among Europe's elite including Paris Saint-Germain, who are keen to supplement their attacking options further despite winning both the French title and the Champions League for a second successive year.
