Liverpool have informed RB Leipzig that they are willing to pay a package of around €100 million to sign Yan Diomande this summer, according to transfer expert David Ornstein. The Reds are currently the favorites to sign the Ivory Coast winger; however, RB Leipzig have reportedly rejected this offer as they want a fee of around €120 million.
Diomande joined the Bundesliga outfit last summer from Leganes, quickly establishing himself as one of the best young players in the league. He flourished last season, recording 13 goals and 10 assists in 36 appearances across all competitions.
Following the departure of Reds legend Mohamed Salah, Liverpool have identified Yan Diomande as a priority signing this summer. However, they are set to face stiff competition from PSG, who are also reportedly interested in signing the latter. However, Les Parisiens have yet to make an offer, as they are waiting for Diomande to choose who he wants to join.
While Liverpool are allegedly ready to pay around €100 million, RB Leipzig are reportedly only ready to sanction Diomande's transfer for a fee of around €120 million, per Fabrizio Romano. However, this fee could increase depending on his 2026 FIFA World Cup performance this summer.
In addition to Diomande, Liverpool are also monitoring Brighton's Yankuba Minteh, FC Koln's Said El Mala, and Lille's Matias Fernandez-Pardo as possible options.
