* The Premier League fixture list for the 2026-27 season will be released on **Friday, June 19 at 10am,** with [Everton](https://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/all-about/everton-fc) and their top-flight rivals learning their schedule for the coming campaign. The clubs already have their schedule, as the fixtures are made available a day before their public release.
* The Premier League season will get under way on the weekend of **Saturday, August 22,** with games on Sunday 23 and Monday 24 - plus the chance of a match on Friday 21.
* The season ends on **Sunday, May 30, 2027,** with all games kicking off at the same time, usually around 4pm, although this will be confirmed nearer the time.
* **International breaks** will look slightly different this season. Instead of the usual three breaks in the first half of the season, there will only be two, but the September break will last for three weeks, from Monday, September 21 until fixtures resume on the weekend of October 10-11.
* The fixtures will again be paused on the weekend of November 14-15 for a second international break.
* The Premier League season will consist of 33 weekend fixture lists and five midweek schedules, although teams could land more midweek fixtures depending on cup competitions and any rearranged games.
* Over **Christmas and New Year,** the Premier League have continued their pledge that no two match rounds will take place within 60 hours.
* Everton will kick off their **Carabao Cup** campaign in the second round this season, as they are not in European competition. However, the schedule for the competition is yet to be confirmed.
* The **FA Cup** gets under way on Saturday, August 8 with an extra preliminary round, but Everton will join in the third-round stage, which is due to take place on the weekend of Saturday, January 9, 2027. The final is scheduled for Saturday, May 22, 2027, a week ahead the end of the Premier League season.
* The **Champions League final** will again be the final game of the season, with that game taking place on Saturday, June 5, 2027.
