Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce has weighed in on Aaron Donald potentially linking up with Myles Garrett in L.A.
The Los Angeles Rams made a lot of noise this offseason when they traded for Garrett on June 1. One of the biggest questions surrounding the franchise is whether Donald will come out of retirement.
The three-time Defensive Player of the Yearcould return to form one of the best pass-rush duos in NFL history. Donald and Garrett will give the rest of the league, including Kelce and the Chiefs, a lot of problems.
They have proven and dominant track records. Their possible partnership would also further boost the Rams’ chances of winning the Super Bowl.
Donald retired on March 15, 2024. He is a one-time Super Bowl champion, eight-time first-team All-Pro selection and 10-time Pro Bowler, among other achievements.

Chiefs TE Travis Kelce Doesn’t Want Aaron Donald To Play Alongside Myles Garrett
While the possibility of Donald unretiring excites Los Angeles and its supporters, Kelce is not a fan. Garrett and Andrew Whitworth appeared on Kelce’s “New Heights” podcast on Monday. The former Cleveland Browns star was asked if he reached out to the Rams legend.
Kelce made it clear that he wants nothing to do with a potential partnership between the two elite defensive ends.
“I don’t think he should come back,” Kelce said of Donald. “I think he’s good, guys. I think he’s good. He’s hanging around, enjoying life.
“There’s a lot to do. Look at Jason (Kelce). Jason’s outta the house doing [expletive].”
Kelce then suggested that his older brother and Whitworth both come out of retirement to join him in Kansas City.
“Jason and Big Whit, if Aaron Donald comes out, you guys gotta come and play for the Chiefs,” said the four-time All-Pro tight end.
Kelce is coming off a down year by his standards. He recorded 76 receptions for 851 yards and five touchdowns. Kansas City missed the playoffs for the first time in the Patrick Mahomes era, finishing 6-11. The star TE and his teammates are eager to bounce back and show everyone that last season was a one-off.
