The Dallas Cowboys have made another move for their offense going into the 2026 season. After two consecutive seven-win seasons, both resulting in missing the playoffs, the Cowboys are motivated to turn things around. With George Pickens now willing to play on the franchise tag and CeeDee Lamb coming back healthy, the offense has high expectations.

However, now there is another veteran wide receiver who will be in the mix.

Cowboys Add Veteran Wide Receiver For 2026 Season

It is reported that former New York Jets wide receiver Denzel Mims is making a comeback to the NFL. According to ESPN’s Todd Archer, Mims has been signed by the Dallas Cowboys.

Additionally, the Cowboys have signed former Jets offensive lineman Chris Glaser.Corey Ballentine, another former Jet, has been cut from the Cowboys roster in a corresponding move.

The 28-year-old Mims will turn 29 during the 2026 season. He was drafted by the Jets in the second round of the 2020 draft as the 59th overall pick.

Over the course of three NFL seasons, Mims has the following stats:

92 targets

42 receptions

676 receiving yards

0 receiving touchdowns

His best season came in 2020 when he was a rookie. That season he recorded 23 receptions for 357 receiving yards.
