The Texas Tech quarterback Brendan Sorsby has announced his intention to enter the supplemental draft, which is scheduled to take place sometime in July once the league approves his application.
Through the supplemental draft, all 32 teams have the opportunity to bid blindly for the rights to a particular player. To add Sorsby, a team must submit a bid for the round in which it would be willing to draft him. The team with the highest bid wins the rights to the player, but it forfeits its pick in that round in the upcoming NFL draft in 2027.
Odds have skyrocketed for one team.
