In preparation for the 2026 season, the Dallas Cowboys have made numerous changes to their team. Following two consecutive seven-win seasons, the Cowboys are motivated to turn things around. There are high expectations for the offense as George Pickens is now willing to play on the franchise tag and CeeDee Lamb is expected to return healthy.
However, one former wide receiver will be lining up for a new team this season.

Former Cowboys Wide Receiver Sigs With The Saints
The Saints announced on Wednesday that they had signed Jalen Moreno-Cropper to a contract.
According to ESPN’s Erin Summers, the Saints have signed WR Jalen Moreno-Cropper, K Tanner Brown, and QB Hunter Dekkers. In 2023, Moreno-Cropper signed with the Cowboys as an undrafted free agent.
In the last two seasons (2024 and 2025), he played in four games for the team. The 25-year-old was most recently playing for the Houston Gamblers in the UFL.
Jalen Moreno-Cropper’s College Career
Jalen Moreno-Cropper spent all four of his college years at Fresno State. Over that time he accumulated:
43 games played
220 receptions
2,701 receiving yards
21 receiving touchdowns
50 rushing attempts
465 rushing yards
5 rushing touchdowns
His best season came in 2022 (his senior year) when he recorded 83 receptions, 1,086 receiving yards, and 5 touchdowns. he also recorded 866 receiving yards and 11 touchdowns his junior year.
